This may sound silly, but not being able to drive/have a car for the past few years has significantly altered my life. I experienced a neurological flare-up that rendered my right leg useless for about a month, and unfortunately, it is not as strong as it used to be. I also know someone who got into a pretty severe accident which has left me with a shit load of anxiety and furthered my unease.

I am working on getting back on the road (slowly but surely I hope), but I have basically been rendered unable to see most of my friends, considering the fact that most of them don't live in my state. And this is just my semi-shitty situation. I don't doubt that the prevalence of car culture has also alienated so many other minorities in different ways than some of the ones I mentioned. There is also no public transportation in my hometown.

Car Production is Suicide

A quick comment on this: Considering the amount of lobbying that has been done by car manufactures to prevent full-scale adoption of public travel, how can you not attribute the many millions killed by these two-ton death machines to capitalism?

tl;dr fuck cars
