You know ziq had a post on Raddle where he said something like its difficult or impossible to be an anarchist if you weren't born one. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but for me, I've always been an anarchist. Always disliked being told what to do and authority and hierarchy. One day, I read some anarchist essays and went "Oh! Ok now. That's very similar to who I am."

I'm not a leftist myself, but I have experienced mocking and ridicule for my beliefs. They will not even engage with your ideas and make you look like you lost your mind.

Another thing they could do is make you give them a step by step plan for what you want. They will then attack each step, say this can't work, and force you to explain further. Trying to confuse people and make them think they are wrong.

i just want to say I'm in a similar position hence my name. It's gonna be a struggle. It's always a struggle in this ass society. I suggest not using that gun, killing yourself, robbing someone. You could do what I do. Basically go on autopilot (getting a regular job) while learning survival skills (growing food, foraging, cooking, etc) so you can get the hell out of Dodge later lol.

Also you live 35 miles away from the nearest city? Maybe its actually easier for you to learn those skills. Im literally using pots to grow food because I live in the city...

Maybe autopilot job on a farm?

Is it possible that the students have their own issues with the teachers (or problems with authority asshole figures like their parents)? Maybe they don't want to be in school but they have to in our society? Just speaking from my experience :)

So everyday I get more annoyed at society (especially since I live in a major city. Ugh). But living outside of it is extremely daunting. I completely lack the skills to survive and there isn't much time to practice. I think that this is one of the most gross things about society. You aren't really taught anything useful for survival. Instead you are taught to be a cog in the societal machine. Just working for the Man. "Get money and buy things. That's how you survive, bro"

That is so strange. I can't imagine making a joke when someone is talking about something serious. I guess people do it to cope. Anyway, just another reason I'm not a people person.

I would love to learn them. However right now it probably would not be good idea to go to a place where I have to pull my own weight lol.

lmao same. People actually get annoyed at me because I don't like to talk to people and it certainly affects me in my everyday life.

For example, I once had a job interview where they told me I was shy. Sorry but I'm not shy. I just don't like to talk outside of answering your questions lol. I had no idea that was an issue.

So yea I definitely get nervous with people.

I meant skills like cooking and growing food and i was referring to myself.

I'm just not a social person. I like being alone. Which probably sounds wierd to people.

Am I confused? Because it seems like you and kelyn_solo mentioned rightism when i never mentioned that at all. I'm not even on the political spectrum.

And I think you have a different idea of leftism. Leftists do want hierarchy. Even left "anarchists" talk about unjustified hierarchy vs justified hierarchy.
