I've just been looking at the comments from the years past when they were doing the same, on leftist sites, and the only arguments I see are "of course more money is good". The only analysis I see is from people saying it's not a good idea. Can you point me to some actual analysis and not just a letter? Are the people who signed that letter liberal or leftists? Also, how does this work towards a stateless , anarchist society?

Actually big businesses will be the only employers that can stomach this, small business will not be able to pay this easily, not to mention that this will just cause inflation and all the prices for shit will go up therefore cancelling out any effects people see. This will harm illegal immigrants the most since they work jobs that Americans won't work because they don't pay a lot. Look at a place like San Francisco that has high minimum wage and tell me if you want to live in that gentrified world. If so, you're a fucking liberal.

I'm not saying that they'll lose their jobs just that there will be less jobs since the corporations will use the same budget. Like for example 100/8 is more than 100/15. IDK, I've just heard the logic behind it and it sounds legit to me. Corporations definitely don't want to pay people more for unskilled work.

It's not very intuitive but like the article says, the people that will be affected are low-wage/unskilled workers, think undocumented immigrants and young people out of highschool. Since those jobs are controlled by huge corporations (Mcdonalds) all's they will do is cut the amount of jobs that they hire for and the amount of hours and it will give them even more incentive to move to machines or automated kiosks, idk if you've seen those at a fast food place yet. Maybe this would work in the peoples favor if the corporations were on the workers side but they aren't.

This reminds me of the plastic grocery bag ban in California, very unintuitive.

This is shit logic. And the "West" is fucked and the reason and source for accelerated climate change, most of the war on this planet so many other horrible things that I'm sure you and others know about, which I'm not going to list here. Also, the "west" is not the norm on this planet and not fucking exceptional.Even the idea of a "western" civilization is geo-political brainwashed garbage.

It's not always superficial but you can't deny some people that wear makeup and care about their appearance more than other things, like say, helping other people is fucked up. Also, the fact that women are more likely to get hired at a job if they wear makeup is sooo fucked up. There's nothing wrong with wearing makeup because you like it, but to have to wear it to look good for the male powers that be is so sad.

Does this lady have a history of being a nazi or a racist? Wearing a blackamoor brooch is only racist if you think that somehow being a person with dark colored skin is negative. IDK, the pin isn't depicting this black person in a subservient role so I think it's a reach, there's plenty of paintings from the same time period showing moors/blacks in a positive light. I think stuff like this is projecting the authors/editors/societies negative view of people with dark skin and perpetuates the non-scientific, colonial concept of race and the falsity that blacks are only slaves, and if they were anywhere else other than Africa in the past it was because they were slaves.

I see she did have some incident in the past where she told a group of black people to go back to the colonies because they were being loud, which can be easily taken out of context. If you've ever been around English people, they love saying stupid jokes like this to Americans, with that knowledge, I would never take an english person saying that to me while I was being loud as a racial slur. This is a crap click-bait article that should be downvoted as to not spread such racially divisive sentiment. The author is totally a brainwashed liberal.

The problem that I see is with the language that is used which in turn frames our thoughts and concepts. Many of these people in the video are conflating race with ethnicity. Races aren't real. There is only one "race" of people. The US education system is fucking horrible. I feel sorry for anyone that considers themselves "bi-racial", because they're IMO brain washed and damaged.

Surface level astrology is pretty weak, like what you see in the paper or with a quick google search of your birthday. But if you do your full chart which involves everything up to the minute that you were born I think it can be a good way of reflection and meditation, but it's not simple. Considering how civilization and understanding started with tens of thousands of years of staring up at the sky and extrapolating meaningful information I would say it has some merit. You should look into the so-called "Occult" if you're interesting in that type of reflection and understanding. But it's not simple or straight forward and is caked with layers and layers of bullshit and deception. Good Luck!! [Edit] We should have a mysticism/Occult/spirituality forum on here.
