However, chatGPT does not have this. ChatGPT is trained based on tokens. All it does is take some words, turn them into a bunch of numbers, and do what an algorithm does best: it puts the numbers through several different operations to get an output string. This isnt based on any intelligence or genuine thought - it just gives an appropriate output based on training data. ChatGPT will never be capable of human thought - it just isn't how it's designed to work.

A direct quote from cactus: “I've been an activist in autism and disability spaces for over a decade and have been coparenting my 8 year old nonspeaking nephew who communicates in sign language and needs to go to a school specifically catered to his needs… I have autism, CPTSD, lived with a BPD misdiagnosis for 6 years, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, long COVID, and other physical and mental conditions which leave me bedridden and using a host of mobility aids around my home”

Edit: parts of the statement have been omitted for the sake of privacy, i can provide the full statement in screenshot form

I would like to once again remind you that i have a limited understanding of the situation, and am merely pointing out what i have been told. It would be worth asking these questions to a willing person with more knowledge of the situation. I did not participate in the decision to demod you, and was unaware of the situation until the decision had already been made.

Update: i have passed these questions onto the discord server.

A statement from a moderator during the discussion (they will remain unnamed for the sake of privacy): “I don't want to wade too much into this, but it all feels like a huge amount of drama that's being generated by one antagonistic and annoying person.

The idea behind this server was simply to be a place for LGBTQ+ forum mods to chat, discuss mod business and try to align policies where appropriate.

The 'FORUM MODERATION' channels are meant to be primarily used by mods of their respective forums, although others are free to chip in if they want to help.

u/HardlightCereal was definitely out of line with that incendiary conversation happening in the Lesbians channel and pretty much every message they sent made me uncomfortable. I've not had any direct interaction with them, but I agree with what LittleStarlight has been saying. u/HardlightCereal is bad news and is basically a drama factory, something we really don't want around here.

The fact that they're still stirring up drama in the background after being banned doesn't surprise me,

I'm not really sure what else I can say about this matter.”

We are trying to find a post to discredit the claims of ableism (for very obvious reasons), and also trying to respond in a way to diffuse the situation at the same time.

I should also point out that one of raddles admins, ziq is also aware of the situation, and that may result in an opinion from a higher authority later down the line.

No, however they are aware of the post and we are discussing it in both the LGBTQ+ moderator discord server and the f/trans moderation guilded server.

Edit: i was not referring to the correct person. cactus is currently offline and will be made aware of the situation when they come online

I am a mod on a large number of the trans forums, so i am in the discord server. I can confirm that the general consensus of the vast majority of the server came to the decision to remove u/HardlightCereal. I can provide more details on the decision and the discussion that took place in order to make it.

Hi, I have a pretty baseline understanding of the situation, and would like to approach it as a disinterested party. I have already heard the story from the perspectives of the f/lesbians moderators. Can you tell me your side of the story, so that i can have an understanding of the situation from both perspectives?

i’ve been working on a virtual machine similar to the JVM for the purposes of making a programming language for a while, and i’ve already made several emulators for custom CPU architectures, so idk if i’ll go back to do something like that any time soon

Hi, sorry for the wait. We're currently discussing your application, can you tell us a bit about yourself? It would be nice to learn a bit about who we'll be working with.

Thanks, Monday
