PbtA stands for "Powered by the Apocalypse". basically, games that use a system derived from that devised for Apocalypse World. examples include Dungeon World, The Veil, and Monsterhearts, among many others.
i am sorry to be the one to break this to you, but that is what cops do. it is basically their entire reason for existing.
i seriously doubt that anyone got in trouble.
back in october, they declared independence , and Spain was not having it.
cops were attacking folks at polling places before the vote was even finished
i feel like i need a wider range of more powerful swear words to appropriately voice my disgust for this kind of 'helping people doesn't really help people' mentality.
one of the problems with the kind terfy ideology you seem to be espousing here is that you get far enough to recognize that gender is a construct, but still buy into the 'sex is an immutable binary science fact' lie that patriarchy has shoved down everyone's throats, while simultaneously having little empathy for trans people or understanding of our lived realities. the end result of which is that you're basically shilling for patriarchy, supporting cis people's identities and experiences while dismissing trans people's.
also, referring to people as 'males' and 'females' seems to be deliberately dehumanizing and calls to mind nothing so much as a misogynistic ferengi.
i feel this. i wish sometimes that i could just donate all my books to the library and know that they wouldn't end up scattered to all the branches in the county, or even just resold at the book fair.
for paper books i usually go to a local used book store. for electronic, i read a fair bit of fanfiction off of ao3, and otherwise use free libraries or occasionally check out good ol' tpb.
apparently, it blocks ads on websites and replaces them with brave's own ads to make money for its owner. if you're aware of that and cool with lining Eich's pockets, i guess it's not a scam though.
that's funny, considering if you scroll down just a little bit on the front page of this forum, you'll see another post where /u/PainlessEphemera requested to stop being a mod of a forum. doesn't really strike me as something someone would do if they just wanted the 'power'.
they're also constantly pushing hard for the Brave web browser, despite it being a project founded by a dude who was fired from mozilla for being a bigot, and is essentially designed to make him money by replacing ads on sites with his own.
they don't describe themselves as left wing, but everything i've seen of their views seems in opposition to the right. i think they try to be officially 'neutral' to not scare off the people they're trying to bring around to their philosophy.
