That happens a lot, with cookies websites can track information about you across domains. Of course, you can use a blocker (like Ublock Origin) and something like Cookie Autodelete to get rid of third party cookies (which mostly are for tracking and ad. purposes).

It's really weird that it happened to you when using Tor and you're not using the clearnet. I guess you're seing the default ads?

I don't like when people say republicans to refer to such a diverse group of people. There were even anarchists, communists..., even very few royalists who just were in the wrong side and were later killed.

If they just refer to people loyal to the Republic, they are ignoring the thousands of killed anarchists and other people against the Republic.

Okay, it's a god. But according to the Urban Dictionary (website):

Kek is an onomatopoeia of the gurgling sound Donald Trump made in the Russian golden shower video. It was then adopted as a word of praise by white supremacists towards the ancient tentacle monster Covfefe, whom they fornicate with; hoping their praises would compel Covfefe to cleanse the world with a great golden flood.

But hell, how am I supposed to know that? I don't usually interact with that people, and only they use that term.

Is it bad praxis to participate in propping up new 'leaders' like this if it is a stepping stone to free up time for individuals allowing for more radical organizing?

You will lose time making that leader win (very difficult). That doesn't guarantee anything anyway, leaders can turn out to be despotic, lie, etc. Anarchists usually focus instead on building non-hierarchical structures.
