I think it's even more powerful than a smartphone, since for a smartphone battery-life is far more important and so people are more likely to notice if you upload everything the mic picks up.

I heard the wifi chip from Killer isn't that good on Linux and people suggested to replace it with an Intel which is also used by Thinkpads. Has anything changed in that regard?

Server: I find the configuration a lot easier than Upstart was.
On the desktop I like having systemctl poweroff/reboot/suspend/hibernate
. Couldn't memorize the commands that were needed before. Besides that I don't notice that I'm running systemd at all, so I don't know why I should switch.

No, but because of the focus on politics. Not everyone has noticed or agrees that "the rest of the web has rapidly been taken over by alt-right trolls and bigots", but it's stated there as a fact.

EME is already implemented in Firefox. You'll get a notification that you'll need to download the binary blob upon first use. After that there will be a red sign in the address bar, telling you that DRM is active on the site.
You can also disable it in the settings (or never agree to download the binary blob).

Problem is that people don't want to come because of the focus on politics, e.g. here: https://raddle.me/wiki/history.

Setting it to zero will reset it, otherwise it will inherit the min-width from the longest word (which would be the long URL).

If we don't replace them with something else, then everyone in that region will go without electricity.
Actually if we remove nuclear power plants, the first thing to happen will be that electricity prices will go up. That will result in consumption going down. Maybe enough so that we can go without nuclear power plants.
or whatever its equivalent for genetic engineering is called
That's the thing: I don't know a term for this, that's why I would say I'm "anti-GMO". But I get what you mean :)

It's three back ticks that cause it. The element should probably have overflow: auto

Until we can distribute power globally, nuclear power may be the least shitty way of generating power for a particular region.
You take it as a given that we'll have to generate power in every area.

we should only use nuclear when all those other clean methods aren't feasible
There's another alternative: Don't produce more power.
If you're anti-GMO, though, you most certainly are anti-science.
Why? It's also quite a political topic, regarding patents etc.
jhasse wrote
There are more reasons for being anti-GMO and anti-nuclear than being anti-science.
