Holy cow, as I Gentoo user I initially started learning Lojban, although I later ended up learning Esperanto when I found someone who spoke it. This actually seems really accurate…
No, because I like freedom of information, at least to a reasonable extent, and I think the rule against it is unnecesary. More rules just make things more complicated, although a rule against non-consensual porn would probably be extremely reasonable.
It seems that Donald Trump is trying to turn the US into a literal fascist dictatorship instead of a very corrupt republic. Sure, what this would actually do is to only ban media corporations from the whitehouse (and this makes me wonder if Donald Trump is doing clickbaity actions on purpose, considering how much more dramatic their statement sounds compared to what it actually does), but slippery slopes seem like they may actually apply to Donald Trump…
Do you have a better suggestion? Antarctica seems by far the cheapest. What could go wrong anyway? Environmental problems would hopefully be addressed by simply not doing anything that destroys the environment, such as having coal power plants or running trains through habitats not on bridges or in tunnels. Being sustainable is very important to me, at least. I don't think I submitted that as a proposal for a guideline, though. Maybe I should…
MICRONATIONS. People, often ancaps, periodically try to set up new nations, such as Sealand, which was an occupied oil rig. There's talk of a new floating nation being launched on old oil tankers, and another being created in space. Pros: possibly outside government jurisdiction. Cons: often remote and isolated; usually suppressed by states; usually organised on state-like model (but with extensive civil rights).
I started trying to make one myself at Anarkikomunismolando a while ago, but have been having trouble getting anything started due to lack of input from others, since I am trying to make it based on many people's ideas and not just my own. It aims to implement a gift economy, and be very international through the use of internet activism and Esperanto. Anyone have any input? It can be found at /f/anarkikomunismolando.
My idea is to create a commune either on the ocean, in Antarctica, in space, or in disputed lands, using online activism and Esperanto to make it very international, called Anarkikomunismolando. A big problem with this at the moment is that not enough people have given their input to the project, and I am stuck making the description vaguer and vaguer because I want it to be a democratic project which reflects the ideas of people everywhere, not just me. Do you have any input? It can be found here at /f/anarkikomunismolando. Hopefully I can make the website better in the future. There is already a wiki under construction!
Can you please post direct links? Imgurs awful bloated site crashes my browser because of the sheer amount of ram it takes to render… (on a mobile phone, fyi. My PC can load it fine)
