it makes sense in a lot of ways. the move of those on the right to become 'dapper' mixes well with poetry. also pound is frequently referred to as 'the greatest poet of the 20th century,' so a 'great man' who was a fascist.... it makes a lot of sense.

plus he's someone 'the establishment' has had trouble banishing because of his 'artistic merit.' i really think there's going to have to be another debate around pound and his 'acceptability'... and probably heidegger too
