Yeah a friend of mine had the some issue with his Uber and Zomato. He uses micro-g. Which solves the whole GCM problem. But some apps like Protonmail that use GCM on android work fine except they will spit out an error about 'Google play services missing' and push notifications don't work. But that's the price one pays for being a FOSS hippie I guess haha

There is no tool per say. If I had to start I would run sporify into a VM and manipulate the hypervisor into dumping chunks of memory. Here is where the reverse engineering begins.
