Unlucky! The only glue stores I've been to have been pretty decent. Scored an untagged Tommy Hilfiger jacket once.

Conceal on the floor as in hide in your jacket or your bag for the meantime. To then properly detag in the changerooms.

And not sure about real life for hook, it may be risky and more expensive I assume. SAs are store assisants.

Stores like general pants is alright, generally dim and cramped. Got an insight jacket from there untagged once and stussy sweats. City beach is always packed with stock but they have tags, changerooms are generally unmonitored and empty too. Cheap monday standalone stores are untagged, no towers and easy. (They also sell Lazyoaf) just conceal in changeroom. Surfdiveski has a lot of untagged items too. Universal store often has untagged items as well.

Be quick enough that they don't notice you loitering around in the store but slow enough so that they don't see you speed walking, grabbing an item and jetting.

Go in take your time to browse but ALWAYS have the item you want in mind. Once you conceal, get out asap. Don't stay in there for them to get suspicious. Like highendlover said, look at the tag and size etc. The longer you hold onto the item as well the more they'll notice if you're just walking aimlessly around with it.

Glue's easy in the sense that generally their store layouts are very cramped and have so many concealing spots. They have A LOT of untagged items. So you can conceal on the floor and then bag in the storerooms. I don't remove store tags at glue since they have SAs that are like hawks.

And you should try aliexpress. Always the go to place.

depop, mercari, carousell, poshmark are great places. if you want things to sell well you have to boost particular brands/items that you know are super popular. here are the ones that ALWAYS sell for me:

  • becca highlights
  • benefit hoola bronzer
  • smashbox primer
  • toofaced anything (bronzers, palettes)

just mark them down a tad bit lower than most prices. since this is 100% pure profit it should be okay. also your country/area should have a flatrate of postage. my local post office has self checkout so i always weight the item as less and can get away with like $4 postage nationwide.

pictures matter. front picture should be of the item and the box beside it. and then just list all the details like: brand new in box hoola bronzer

  • never used
  • super popular on youtube, insta

also a good idea to put in your bio to ward off suspicion about the fake that you're selling so many highend brand new makeup that's authentic is 'make up artist clearing out my collection'.

and to sell off the remaining goods that dont sell out i just put them as a 'bundle deal'.

another tip is to avoid lifting any concealers, foundations etc. unless you get them in the most popular shades like nars creamy concealer in custard. shades take way longer to sell.

uniqlo is insanely hard. they have so many store assistants on the floor at mine and maybe like 5 at the exits just handing out shopping bags etc.

they count like hawks at the dressing rooms and have a very limited amount of dressing rooms too.

uniqlo's are generally PACKED so there won't be empty places to conceal. unless you're getting a scarf, socks or a thin tshirt and can conceal it in your jacket and then go changeroom to take off the rfids - i doubt it'd be possible at uniqlo unless you're really careful.

100% bulky jackets with inside pockets. Wear a slimming shirt underneath and you can shove stuff down the back and sides as well as filling your pockets. If you hold a bag/purse you can press it against your jacket on the outside to make it look less sus.

  • If you have long hair and just drape it over the back of your jacket, it hides the bulkiness from behind.

Purse and saved bags from other stores. The structured crossbody purses and inside I have an empty makeup bag. Just fill the makeup bag with more makeup and say it's yours lol. Just remember to dispose of the packaging if you intend to keep the items and not sell them.

Also inside pockets of bulky jackets are perfect. I have an oversized denim one, just slip it into the inside pocket to conceal.

Officeworks is easy. Some stores have bathrooms in there where you can conceal. If you want high end makeup I can help you.

Target's easy too. Generally they only have one person at exit.

Stores like General pants, Glue, Universal are easy since they mainly employ teenagers.

High end makeup like Myer, David Jones, Sephora and Mecca Maxima are alright too. Sephora is the toughest out of the four since they prosecute, have undercover LP and all employees on the floor have headsets.

Just a tip, i once brought a backpack in a Zara store and they made me press it against their change room desk where the assistant stands. They have a magnet detector behind there.
