I feel useless, I am 2/3ths trough a math undergrad but I don't really connect with the material anymore. I want to do something of value for the world but I don't seem to find anything I could even help with. Also trying to do a small coop amazon thing in my city with some leftist friends that would only sell coop things and courier by a local courier coop or ourselves but it currently seems daunting.

Will be trying to get a bike mechanic job but I don't have work experience in that area and I can't find openings online. (Only experience is some basic tech support during highschool and servicing my bike)

I feel lost in the world. :C

Edit: Just to clarify, I only wanted to vent and it is my current state but hopefully things will turn alright in the following weeks.

I don't know if you intended to elude to (left) accelerationism so I am going to leave that there as a reference and extract some tidbits:

"Left-accelerationism" attempts to press "the process of technological evolution" beyond the constrictive horizon of capitalism, for example by repurposing modern technology for socially beneficial and emancipatory ends

At least from my understanding it has less to do with "increasing the rate of exploitation until we reach a tipping point" and more about creating something so efficient and straightforward that participating in capitalist relationships (private property, dispossessed wage labour, etc) is the worst option available to people.

As supported here:

Jones and Williams were clear what this does not mean: i.e. exacerbating capitalism in the hopes of bringing out its contradictions to somehow spontaneously generate socialism. Rather, we are asked to harness capitalism’s contradictions, preparing to strategically seize already inevitable crises.

Some additional reference could be Towards Liberatory Technology by Murray Bookchin and Solarpunk Anarchist's Social Anarchist Futures.

Read a post in /r/Anarchism linking to a thread here about the current /r/CTH situation. Read some links about this platform and decided to join.
