You're right as far social insertionism, that's what I was really talking about I guess. There's a group not-to-be named that has that as a major element of their work since they don't expect to every be large themselves. And that idea seems a little intellectual vanguard-ish to me.

On the other hand, I get why someone who has read more theory or has had more experience would want to guide others along...it just seems very toxic to engage with others under the idea that you're going to drive them more towards your ideas instead of that happening organically. It strikes as a form of proselytizing, which I disagree with in nearly all forms.

Growing up, I would have considered myself a person from my area of my state more than from the US as a whole, though. That was something that used to give me pride when I was young because of the particular experiences my community made it through.

I don't view nationality as much of a real issue in isolation so much as what it means in relation to other things. I view religion in the same way.

Idk why...but ivw been arguing on Twitter for hours with some bootlicker who's mad I pointed out Obama is a shitter cuz Chelsea was locked up by Obama 1st and for much longer than this 2nd time under Trump.
