Having not read it, there are unions in the PNW that are against eco-friendly policies because it means less commerce into ports which means less labor hours for them. Its a real thing that holds policies back.

I think I'm about to be straight edge due to health reasons. I now have a chronic inner-ear issue that gets much worse very quickly with alcohol or caffeine. And the smell of weed is nauseating to me.

Although...maybe I'll be whatever straight edge is with the practice and not the philosophy.

This. If it exists at all. I take public transit or ride my bike to work...both take about 40 minutes. If i were to drive it'd be 15 at most...and I live in a major city. If i were to move to a suburb 20min south...it would take over 1.5hrs to get to work via public transit because of transfers.

Sounds neat. I'm too ignorant to even know what I can build. I'm hoping to learn a lot about it while I study for the test and go to the local radio club. I'm also thinking about infiltrating the radio club with more PoC and young ppl. It is all white and almost all 50+. Good people, didn't notice any inherent fashiness, but still all white and old.
