Im using cloudvault.me (its available from their web and from market.fair.coop) - works great. Nice guy who runs it as well. And they accept fair + a bunch of other crypto.

I reckon it has more to do with funding, as all things that are good. Theres no doubt people with skills and and want to do this around the world, but probably harder to afford doing it full time + material and equipment.
We need to get on rural hacklabs.

And regarding my OP. It would still be possible to have both a remote server and my homeserver running under one domain? or would it be more beneficial to keep them seperate?

So essentially, for the home server all I would need to do is set up streama and airsonic to run on different ports, make sure those are forwarded and add my own IP (the one my modem gets from my ISP) to wherever my domain is hosted and It should in theory work (until my ip changes)?

It's also really shit planning. Work and save for a year like most people who go traveling do and this wouldnt have been such a crisis.
