i often busk for money and clean windshields/windows in exchange for gasoline so i'm usually on the receiving end but when i have money i almost always give it away. Sometimes i'll busk with other kids who are in worse positions than i am and i'll give them my cut

I'm currently a traveling farmhand and a part time student and I absolutely love it. I don't make any income living this way but in exchange for typically 25 hours of work a week (often less) I get room and board. I love it because I'm not alienated from the fruits of my labor, and I'm spending time with farmers who are dedicated to sustainability and permaculture. I'm learning so many useful and practical skills, everything from carpentry and construction to pruning and gardening

I haven't been on raddle in a hot minute so these forums could already exist, but what if we made forums dedicated to newcomers and education? I remember /r/anarchism101 being super helpful and informative when I was first getting intrigued by radical politics

We were good friends so I'm really fucking shook right now. I wrote a poem and its kinda silly but i thought i might share it as a means of coping

Memories of you dance defiantly on the broken pavement of my mind Crashing and colliding like the mosh pit where we met Screaming and shouting like we did at those barricades The fires you started with your lips, with your feet, with your hands find fuel within the hearts of many You planted the seeds for a better world to blossom Those of mourning will water them with our tears If there is a god, I laugh knowing you’re in heaven kicking his ass

I don't buy into it but i fit my description almost perfectly. Something interesting is that the word "disaster" comes from the Hellenic word "-astria" meaning stars, so if something is a disaster it means the stars are out of alignment

as an organization i think not. however, i see potential in their ability to introduce slight bits of radicalism into the hearts of disenfranchised democrats. I actually think us anarchists ought to engage with local DSA chapters for the sake of forming connections and ideally imbuing those chapters with anarchist thought, practice, and sentiment.

Hopefully help make the world a better place, contribute something to the lives of those around me, travel and make the most of each moment. Eventually I wanna move far away from people in the mountains, and die with a smile on my face

a wonderful read. Many pro capitalists derive their conclusions about human nature from a misconstrued interpretation of evolutionary theory, and I think this piece does a great job of elucidating the ways in which an in depth analysis of nature only serves to reinforce anarchist and collectivist thought.

I'm likely gonna go out but I won't be donning black with bandanas, planning to just keep an eye on things and pass out radical literature

Thats how i got hooked. A buddy had a vape back when they weren't super popular and he was using high nicotine juice. I tried it and was in love with the nicotine buzz. When I'd head home I started having cravings so i'd roll cigarettes with my dads pipe tobacco and bible paper. Once I looked old enough to pass as 18, I started buying smokes, and have been hooked ever since.
