For all of 2018, the Dyson hair products were not source tagged. However, the air wrap your referring to is new and may be tagged.

The 555 Broadway location has been extensively renovated (same style as 34th St and Hudson Yards). The cameras are overhead certain brands and are heavily monitored. Going early or during a shift change 11-12:00pm helps. Also, pick stores with an immediate subway entrance like 60th and Lexington.

I’m assuming they are contacting you from their own personal Facebook account. Regardless, this is harassment. Scenario: Manager finds a personal item on the floor and contacts the person via any social media to inform them - it’s a nice, heartfelt thing to do. Once the person says “Sorry Can’t” the item is garbage. Any further communication is harassment.

I’d report this person to Corporate via email. Why? Because this method of tracking down a criminal would be thrown out of court, if they suspected you of theft. They don’t have fingerprint, they contacted you solely on name. What are the chances another person with your name lived within 100-200 miles of this store? Even with Face Recognition, police need to get involved if their connecting that Face ID to a Facebook profile pic. This is entrapment.

Key. After concealing, start heading for the doors while pretend texting. Peep for other people exiting and walk in step.

Also, stores with a large Home Section ignore this area. I’ve stashed an obscene amount of candles, bulbs and a massive embroidered quilt.
