These are called bonk gangs, or burglarly gangs, since this is pretty much a felony, probably robbery as well, if weapons are involved. You will be all over the news for sure. Apple store are like this, apple doesnt even try to secure thier stores, like using things to lock it down. they might be able to block those devices online.

another thing is she wasnt even caught by the police or lp, which wouldve taken down her name and such. She should not steal right now if she is this paranoid, since its been 3 years, unlikely anyone recognizes her at the store, if its even the same people working there.

i usually hit target only on weekends, because of parents shopping, and the large amount they take to shop, gives me plenty of times to lift and hide the stash in my parents car, i always remove the packaging and dump it in numerous trashcans in the malls. i have stopped going to shop with my mom, because she takes extremely long times to come back, and im also a little older(should be driving and living on own, but im not, many reasons). once a week is fine, as long as they wernt following you, or trying to setup a sting.

most likely they stole more than 500$ in a day from different stores, since walgreen and some store can crosstalk with other stores in the area. and the ladies probably went back to the same store steal again, in probably less than a week. just to mess around with them, i would give them misleading tips, or disinformation.

theres no possible way she has a warrant, she would have to be arrested, or had a cop give her a charge, like a fine she never paid, that my a result in a warrant. They dont even know who she is, as they never identified her, or even noticed that she stole anything. If she is worrying about this all the time, its extremely ill-advised for her steal again, since she only done in a time of desperation, not like a habitual thing like us on this forum.

i have many close-calls since i only can hit targets, because thats only "walmart-esque" store in my area. most recent i only stole something from a small inner city target but wasnt caught. I was in a downtown inner city target a few years ago, i stole a tin of pokemon cards, i opened the tin and took all the cards, and codes right in an aisle, that was pretty stupid. but i quickly left or went into the bathroom to check for tags. as i was leaving and down the escalator, i notice the LP/employees were extremely on edge, and over heard them saying "person is moving somewhere around the store". however they did not notice me already leaving on the escalator, because i always hug the walls where the camera cant track me at all, so they cant predict where i will end up all the time. however subsequent visits had made the lp there extremely weary of people like me"backpacks, shifty looking pant". years before this incident i was leaving in a different target in a mall outside my city, as soon as i walked out the security towers beeped and i quickly ran, powerwalked out to the parking lot, and into my parents car, i kinda hid under there(inside the car near the seats), the thing it was those "meddlesome kids" that actually shouted out when the security towers beeped. ever since i couldnt risk those types of items i was stealing.

as long as they dint arrest you, your fine. I would just go to a different kroger, i got caught at costcos(in the early 2000s for attempting to steal a gba game, was forced to buy it) and they said i was banned there for a while, i still went to other costcos, because i believe they cant immediately recognize you as thy dont have cameras. However i did not go back to that costco i was caught at for a few years. same with target got caught there, involved police but i eventually went back there(i had several close calls from other targets though. arrest will often result in your being "booked" aka fingerprinted being registered in LEO database, the whole thing. and it might include an actual charge like petty theft or misdeameanor, this will be on your criminal record forever, However you can expunge and seal the charges(you have to ask the court to do this) if your planning on getting employment, some employers are immune to "expunged seal records though". also if your banned, just go to another kroger and steal there, but be warned if they catch you again, and they have a picture and the copy of your Id you will get charged with trespassing.

i heard targets LP, and investigations into EMployee lifters is pretty much top-notched. probably not a good idea, for a simple fitbit. If there is a trash can inside the room where the fitbit is, i would do the trash mixing. make sure they dont have cameras, it would be suspicious if you were going in when your not suppose to.

its not a chance encounter of getting aught, but depends on many factors. lets look at some things. are you in school, and need money to live? probably steal stuff. if your Degree or career depends on a clean record, and if you job lined up, probably not a good idea to steal until you settle down in your job. -if you have children, you might need to re-evaluate your shoplifting life?

-when it comes to stealing, greed is usually the reason people get caught, because as soon as you want more after you already stolen you become very reckless and start ignoring the fact that thier are cameras, Employees, both undercover and normal security. you already see all those video heist, people try to steal thousands, but they become greedy and attempt to steal more at another store in a short amount of time, at this point they are already all over the news and cops are ready preperaing to set up stings.( the famous costco heist a few months back)

BEING charged with a misdeameanor crime is enough to scare people into giving up. -being complacent, arrogant or cocky while stealing is also a sure sign of getting caught. As alot of people in the subreddit were just that, they were caught. dont be the person that blame the forums for making them to steal, its definitely a self-made choice to steal. if your feeling stealing is becoming too much of a hassle, quit stealing then.

i only get to go to a walmart on a rare chance that were eating somewhere nearby, we often come around 8-9pm. I USUALly prefer busy store hours rather than after hours, since your less likely to be watched anyways.
