i would also try using your own phone, and put it on "selfie mode to see if people are following you, pretend like your getting some kind of angle or something. higher end stores, require you to dress more nicely, if you are planning to shoplift.

i wear the exact same thing and get followed most of the time. the thing is, look for something cheap to buy and do it, do this a couple times and then the security might leave you alone. Then again, it still suspicious, you might have to change how you look, like the subreddit and this forum reccommend try to dress nice, like your well off, probably a polo shirt, or dress like your going to an job interview, business casual or even full suit. suspicious people the lp look out for is 1)backpack, hoodie, teenager trashy look, baggy pants with many pockets

does he mean the items on the shelves, like first aid, allergy meds, cream next to the pharmacy? or actual medication in the pharmacy, they usually close the pharmacy really early, and its always locked up. in any case this can easily escalate into a felony charge for stealing medication/drugs.

i used to go this mall with a target and numerous other stores, it was semi-large mall. and i always had 1 mall security eying me from time to time, because i used to frequent there once a week, but they really only do it from far away. Only if the security was order to stop you, they may chase.

Ive done that before, finish stuffing and closing my zipper as a "security guard" at target was walking out of a employee only stock room into the only(1 of 2) blindspot aisle, he did not even notice i just stole. i had other incidence, but i cant remember enough details.

usually people called them japanese people, and not japs(used to be deragatory). i think its considerably better if you steal when you checkout of the hotel.

depends on what kind of bags, backpacks are a no go. bags/reusable bags is less suspicious if you shopping for grocery or foods. its suspicious if your bring a grocery reusable into an store like bestbuys. Maybe use a bag from thier own stores. Always find a blindspot where you can conceal as well.

sounds like he could be high or drunk. in any case, this makes everyone want to shoplift at target harder in the long run. another thing you can actually take advantage of this situation, if someone is doing this while your shoplifting, you can actually shoplift with ease while everyone is concentrating on that one guy.

its kinda wrong to use your Dead parent to identity theft, this is a classic identity theft. this isnt shoplifting as its different kinds of fraud, identity theft, opening a false bank account is probably another one. you dont need a paypal attached to a bank account. sooner or later the bank is going to get suspicious at a dead person suddenly opening a bank account, they will probably freeze it and call the police to investigate.

its forgivable if your a minor, and ONLY if someone picks you up, and there you have to face your parents or whoever will pick you up. Its possible if you have money to avoid the stolen product they may allow you to leave with it, the minor thing still applies here. if your stealing in the hundreds of dollars and get caught, probably police is getting called at this point. if your an adult stealing, arrest is possible. thats why its important, like other people on this sub said, walk or run away as soon as you trigger an alarm, or an lp/employee is chasing you. once police is called you most likely will get a fine, court summons, petty theft charged and will be booked(recorded in your criminal history).

hit grocery stores, avoid stores with a security guard, ditch your stuff if a security guard is following you. Take only small items like candy, maybe a soda or two, no chips since the bag makes alot of sound.

depends on the size of your items, if anything pocket sized, will go into the pockets. such as trading card game cards, and packs. Also if you have to open the packaging to avoid the tags, care must be used here as opening a package of an item is sure to alert someone where your concealing. Also check out the stores first.
