Be careful with this, I noticed that my local supplier of these items has begun putting the sticker alarms on ALL of these products in rather unassuming areas. They are easily defeated, but just be aware.

This. Barcode scanner is your friend!! Go to places you feel comfortable lifting & scan away!! Try lifting items that sell for close to retail, aren’t oversaturated on the reselling sites, have plenty in stock & are unassuming in terms of what a company would expect you to steal.

You might have to drive to a few locations to get a good stock pile going, just try to make a day of it, hit all the similar stores in your area & target these items & clear them out before they have a chance to notice they are missing & alert other stores in the area to keep an eye out. That way by the time you need more they should be fully restocked & forgotten about again. It also helps to offer bulk buy discounts (the more someone buys the cheaper you will go, works especially well with moderately-low priced items.)

Item Examples: Perfume, certain art supplies, vitamins, make-up, hair care, etc.

Store Examples: Run of the mill grocery stores, health food stores, TeeJ Max, Marshellz, etc.

I am going to say the following with the kindest intentions:

PLEASE IMMEDIATELY STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING!

Using the tips you just described it isn’t a matter of IF you get caught, but WHEN you WILL be caught. When that day comes, you are for sure going to be hit with a CPS case like no other. I am telling you this because I have seen it happen to more than one very close personal friends & in every instance it has played out in the same general way. There is no scenario in which shoplifting baby toys is worth potentially losing your kid to foster care for ANY amount of time. You do NOT want the government in charge of determining your worthiness & ability to parent your child, because you will not like the outcome of what they decide.

As much as you think your methods are slick, they have been used for ages. LP know very well to watch mothers with strollers & young children. A stroller is essentially the biggest purse you could hope to bring into a store. Also, sticking around after lifting to chat with employees & check out & what not only gives LP the time they need to properly stop you. And WHEN that happens, what are you going to do? Run off with baby & stroller in tow? Throw everything in the car & speed off? This will only help to prove the CPS case further that you are recklessly endangering your child.

It doesn’t sound like you are lifting to support yourself, it seems to be low value luxury/entertainment out of boredom & convenience.. Save your lifting strictly for Mommy time & find a new hobby for the meantime.
