You can easily attend lectures, at the beginning of the year. Even if the teacher sees that you're their student, they probably won't care as long as there are enough chairs for everybody and you're not noisy. If you get caught, you can tell the teacher you got the wrong room or even tell them you're a student from another major and want to attend their lectures. They'll probably agree.

I've sneaked in friends for lectures and there was no problem. Although I'm in a country where colleges are public and free so that's not like USA.
