Okay this has gotta be a troll post...but if this actually legit cmon bro you definitely shouldn't shoplift. Stealing a single Blu-ray is an insanely low end crime and your this scared? Yeah hang it up bro this isnt for everyone and clearly this isnt for you.

You can just use a pliers and twist and twist a shit ton and itll pop eventually but this works only with shoes cause if it's on clothing itll tear/rip the clothes first. Personally I use my golf detacher and it unlockeds them super quick all day. That's how I got my new nike airs a week ago actually there dope

Ehh I dunno its probably to weak for most tags wouldnt know which ones if any it'd work for unless you tried...but it's safe to say it would either work on a select few or none at all. I'd get 15,000 or higher then your golden for damn near all tags. My golf is rated 16,000 and is beast. Remember the stronger it is the more room for error which means it's faster. Example you have a golf that is literally the exact strength for a tag your trying to remove if so you'll need to line it up perfectly to get it off where as if you have more power than needed you can quickly take tags off. Hopefully that makes sense

The biggest claw I see is you said sometimes you go back to macys and get stuff there. I would highly suggest not doing that. All it would take is one person to remember you came earlier and just grabbed a bag to bust you. Also I'm not sure if you take multiple trips to fitting room and slowly fill your bag or just one trip. My advice keep it to one trip then immediately leave after because if your doing multi trips they have time to catch on,also more time to set up and bust you.

Great advice..heres an example but keep in mind every court system operates a little different from each other. I recently got caught lifting around a month ago "wasnt caught per se got my plates" but I wont get into that story. Regardless was charged class b misdemeanor retail theft. I just spoke with my lawyer agreed to plead guilty and the plea agreement is 375$ total fines and 5days/5 suspended which means no jail time....so literally only a small fine! Also I have 9 felonys on my record sooo I'm far from a clean record. My point is whatever happens with you will not be much at all so stop stressing.

I'd suggest any online marketplace but me personally I use only mercari but I've heard poshmark works good as well.

It sure is possible plus you can try playing the medication angle. Either way though since you have no priors and arent a drug addict "least I assume" i think even worst case you'll get a deferred sentence which means if you dont get in trouble again within 6 months or a year whatever timeline they set. The charge will then get dismissed and be removed from your record. Keep in mind that's a pretty good outcome and I believe that's your worst case scenario. Now I'm not the judge but I do have en extensive criminal history so I'd be surprised if my assumptions are incorrect. Either way I wish you the best of luck!

This really isn't a big deal. A C misdemeanor is the lowest criminal charge so you wont get any jail time, just a small fine and possibly little community service. Alas in the grand scheme of things your possibly getting off super easy. Although in your case the shame/guilt of people finding out seems to be the biggest punishment. If you weren't prepared going into it for potential consequences you should have stayed home, own the mistake and move on.

Yeah I think the smart thing is to simply avoid it all together. Cause mercari for example my account is basically ghost I have a burner phone number linked and to deposit my funds I have a Walmart prepaid card so it's not linked to my bank account.

Well you already fucked up cause they have your information. Dollar stores are always case building so better believe they have all your lifts documented. Can almost guarantee your first day on the job will end with you being arrested. You are probably well known as the notorious dollar store bandit, now that they finally caught you you'll also be paraded around on the news. I mean common sense you can't expect to lift like 50 items from the same place and get away clean...that's a whole 50$ you very well could have bankrupted the store! I'd secure bond money so you can at least bail out.

Those high end VR headsets could be another one like oculus go and rift ect. Only downside is pretty big size box, oddly enough a Wally in my town leaves the 64GB Oculus Gos out just spiderwrapped and they retail for 250$ ea. Definitely have made some money on them.

I think this is my plan this year as well, probably gonna lay low until then so I'm not on any radars already. Then just hit everyone I can black friday and hopefully come out better than normal since lots of things normally behind glass will be out in the open.

Umm I think you have that mixed up...at least I see it like car hopping typically low reward can luck out with jackpots but in general low reward but risk much higher. Let me explain your chance of being caught may be less car hopping BUT the charges you'll get if caught are much more severe. In my state your for sure getting at least 1 if not more depending on circumstances felony for carhopping. On the other hand get caught lifting long as it's under a 1,000 it's a B misdemeanor bond would be like 250$ and when you get sentenced you'll just get some fines not jail time.

No apple stores in my city and I doubt the large retailers will leave them out. Unfortunately for me I can almost guarantee they will be behind glass everywhere.

This couldn't be farther from the truth. Maybe on Letgo but I sell exclusively on Mercari and electronics are money and sell super fast. The only way they wouldnt sell is if you boost some random ass item that has a very specific use, electronics is a VERY broad range of products.

For OP some quick selling electronics I can think of right now. Any Streaming devices roku firestick ect, anything to do with Nintendo Switch games controllers accessories, also xbox and playstation controllers, Fuji instax cameras and the film, Portable Storages, any smart home stuff from big name brands think nest ring ect, razor Gaming accessories. Anyways that's a great start and what I do with mercari anyways is before I post an item just search it and see what it's been sold for before and price accordingly and itll sell!

Also my credentials are the fact that I currently have made 14,000 on mercari and I only sell brand new boosted items
