Yes but isn't this equally true for any state, democratic or not?

I don't think so. Since the leaders tend to change fairly often, wherre i live they often don't have the time to do much before being replaced.
So each leader party tend to just cancel rhe changes of the precedent one all the time.

I highly doubt that. Malwares have already spread through Google ads afaik and yet nobody cared. And yet those were included on the search page along side actual search results.

Why do you say they're racist? I don't know anything about all this but I'm curious.

I feel like we have pretty different views about what security culture is. To me it absolutely doesn't mean to stop making friends and connections. It just means protecting yourself and your friends.
In my view what you say or don't say in a security culture conscious way depends on the situation anyway .

Of course. But here I just wanted to refer to some points of the Raddle's security culture page. Like about not sharing personally identifying information and the fact that you don't know the people on the site for real.
To me security culture is not about not having friends, but just about not communicating things that the people you talk to don't need to know (in order to not put you or the people you talk to in danger, now or in the future)
Also because you don't do any illegal shit doesn't mean you're safe, some stuff you already do might become illegal or you might have to do illegal stuff in the future. Sharing identifying things online everywhere is just going to make it harder for you in the future imo.

Not exactly the same kind and i don't know if it would be meme-material but there's some good stuff on Fireweed Collective's crisis toolkit or ZeNVC
Anyway if you do those memes I would love to see it, I never imagined memes as a vector of this sort of stuff but it would be really wholesome.

I've heard about topinambur which is an edible plant that from the people who happened to have grown it or simply had it in their garden spreads widely and is pretty damn hard to get rid of because it spreads underground I think.

Reply to Is it possible to start anarchist change by creating self-sufficient anarchist villages? by calamada
Before I think i would have loved that, but now I don't think I want to be so disconnected.
I don't find it useful to think in terms of "global scale", there isn't any global anarchism or global future. Anarchy isn't a "system" in my view. So each group of people organize themselves differently.
So I think an anarchist commune is anarchist but it's not a way to go toward "global scale" because I don't think it will ever happen. But it does add more anarchy into the world and that's cool. Anything adding anarchy into daily life is cool imo
One thing to note though, communes, even anarchists one often only has people that are fairly wealthy (middle class or higher) because most often living this way requires quite some funds to be start.

I hope it has been archived. But I did suspect it might have stopped being maintained, the last post was several months ago (early december 2023 to be precise) which was weird since there should be a post per month.
The site does seem to have been archived well on archive.org but i couldn't find any info on their social medias :/
Wirh some luck they might respond by email it's the name of the site @riseup.net but i do think it's unlikely :/

- 16 or 17 I think
- I think there shouldn't be a legal age for alcohol, at least in my country most people who drink alcohol started before the age of 14 anyway.
- 2 or 3 beers ? I don't drink a lot at all
- All of them, but better care for addiction and better education
- I think it should be legal and not be any legal age, especially since I find it pretty stupid that weed is illegal while cigarettes and alcohol is not .

Sorry to necropost but just in case someone finds this post again with the search bar, I just wanted to mention that Radicle doesn't use IPFS (or not anymore?) it has its own protocol as far as I know. But it remains pretty cool.

I've used it and sometimes still use it to quickly know what kind of stuff I should expect from some weird news websites. Basically just to know if it's worthy of my attention or not.
But I also take it with a lot of caution because seeing things only in terms of "left" or "right" is quite binary and sometimes be hard to decide. Like anarchist website and authoritarian communist website being at the same place on the spectrum, for instance.

The thing that intrigues me here is the fact that they're not even hiding their bigotry. At least where I live, even if the communist party might very well thing, they wouldn't have the guts to tell everyone about it.

Yes I totally agree. It's very good at pretending to people they have the choice and an impact on state decisions even if it's actually not the case.
