Youre not good, youre just hitting a store with no LP and old AI on self checkout. Theres a target i go to in a nice well to do area and I prob only scan $30 out of $300 and have been hitting them for years at least twice a month

Targets LP is so over exaggerated its really insane at this point the urban legends and fake news stories about them. first of all its completely store by store. Some stores have pretty good LP and have people manning the cameras and LP on the sales floor and self checkout. Others have literally no LP presence. Theres a target i go to that ive been hitting about 2 or 3 times a month for about $200+ every visit for years now.

Dont bother… they hover and will always bring your shoes to the register. I would try Dicks sporting goods they will give you shoes and let you walk around with your box. Although if youre looking for a particular sneaker, they might not have it. But they do have a nice selection of all kinds of sneakers.

Lol dont let people scare you. Its super easy. I got an electronics store for about 6k in person a few months back. You can do it online as well but i feel like theres too much of a paper trail for my taste doing it online, even if you account for a burner phone to make the online purchase. When i did this in the beginning of the year, covid lunacy was still a thing where im at (NYC area) so i just did it myself with the ol covid mask and a hat on and i didnt look out of place. Otherwise i would just have a friend do the purchase. Take plates off the car and make a small purchase like at a gas station beforehand. I have decent history with my cards with no claims so that probably played a huge part in how hard they would look at me as the source of the problem/theft. So if youve never done this before and have history go ahead and make a charge for a good amount. I probably wouldnt do it again for a good while but im pretty sure you can get away with this at least once a year even if youre not rich. But im not comfortable with that frequency so i’ll probably do this once every few years.

No those white stickers generally do not set off towers. CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc get hit hard by crackheads that steal razors, deodorant, multipacks of gum, toiletries, etc by the hundreds sometimes. They sell them to fences and bodegas that give them about 30 ish cents on the dollar. So the idea is that if you see merchandise at these bodegas with these stickers, 1 you know theyre buying stolen merchandise and 2 maybe you’ll call the number on the sticker. Typically the stickers will also instruct to call a certain number if you see this item sold somewhere else.

A raid for a used drone? If this sort of petty bs keeps you up at night then just keep it 100% square and boy scout like. Only buy from approved drone retailers kid.

I think people give these retailers too much credit. Ive hit up certain walmarts and targets for years at self checkouts. If or when i get caught, i play dumb, offer to pay for whatever didnt get scanned and move onto the next location and dont go back unless doing legitimate shopping. These stores have never brought up any prior incidents at all. And i would hit them up once a week sometimes twice for a couple years. Easily underscanning $100-400 at a time. Case building is 99% a myth except for the boldest of ORC, and Emergeny exit walkouts. dont get greedy and youll be fine.
