I took you up on it and emailed bridges@torproject.org from an email that is not Gmail, Yahoo, or Riseup like stated on their website and got no response. Your claim is that you don't need any of those accounts to email bridges@torproject.org when in reality, both their website and my experience shows otherwise and yet for some weird reason you're still standing your ground.

In conclusion - I don't even know why you're arguing with me. My point is that I need to email Tor for bridges, I'm not going to sign up for Gmail or Yahoo for obvious reasons, and the only way to sign up for Riseup is to get an invite code. You're claiming that it's somehow shady that I want to use Riseup and that I don't in fact need an account from either of those three providers to email Tor for bridges. I quoted and sourced the Tor Project's website that specifically says they only accept emails from those providers. After that you said that regardless, it works with every provider, and so I decided to email them myself (not using one of those providers) and have not gotten a response throughout the whole day. Just take an L and move on, I don't know why it's so hard for you to accept you were wrong about something.

Protonmail is on Tor, Tutanota and Mailfence work with Tor Browser.

What does that have to do with anything I mentioned?

Riseup doesn't use E2EE, they only encrypt their storage, and their server is located in US.

And?? It's still much, much better than using Yahoo or Gmail which requires JavaScript and a phone number.

Your excuse is invalid, try again.

Haha, okay... Here's a quote directly from the Tor Project. "Another way to get bridges is to send an email to bridges@torproject.org. Please note that you must send the email using an address from one of the following email providers: Riseup, Gmail or Yahoo."

You're on a Privacy forum telling people that they're shady for wanting to use alternative services? Why are you even here if you see everyone who doesn't submit to government and corporate surveillance as phishers?

And if you must know, the reason I need Riseup is because Tor doesn't accept emails from anyone else besides Gmail or Yahoo, which I'm not signing up for.
