Acres of burned-out Detroit did look like they could become something, but if there's going to be city-like densities (or even suburban-like densities where cities used to be) you still need infrastructure. Better systems would be great, but a green society built within the ruins of the current cities is simply a dystopian nightmare without planning and organized effort. Nice drawing tho.
