If you're not a leftist is it really punching left?
Understanding mass society requires hierarchy to function is what caused me to fully embrace anti-civ critique. Reds can't understand this. So they do everything they can to defend their hierarchies, because mass society cannot ever be questioned.

These people really would've supported the colonization of Indigenous populations outside the "Western world" as unfortunate but necessary "for the sake of the children" criticizing their refusal to accept their medicine.

“We’ve always done it this way,” Parker said. “She was an addict and we just used her as an informant like we’ve done a million times before. Looking back, it’s easy to say, ‘What if?’”
Jesus Christ, to be so brazen denying someone's humanity. Unsurprising? No. Enough to make you choke on your rage every time though.
Disgustingly, it's only going to get worse as the climate crisis intensifies.

And the violence necessary to deal with 5 people would violate the State's monopoly on (lethal) violence and likely see you caged for a very long time.
I imagine myself calling cops if someone is trying to break into my house or if someone is being stalked. Do I think it'll do anything? No. But if it escalates then you're less likely to face legal repercussions protecting yourself or them.

Reply to comment by Archaplain in Can someone give me some quick and dirty critiques of Marx by Archaplain
Yup. I keep going back because raddlers brought me here. I was able to skip years in anarcho-leftism as a result, but I think I'm just crushing my soul trying to combat anarcho-marxism and its moralizing vehement anti anti-civ.
[email protected] should be called Marxism. Lol. That post is a dumpster fire.

Reply to hierarchies are ok, if you're a syndacalist? by tuesday
Aren't all the strands of social/leftist anarchism ok with some hierarchies, they just name it something else (democracy). I give this person kudos for honesty.
Reply to comment by AnarchoDoom in What is "nature" and what is "natural"? by Bezotcovschina
Just because intervention is necessary doesn't make it unnatural. Beavers need to "maintain" their dams.
And I feel like you're maintaining the artificial separation of human and nature. Humans are as much nature as is the aforementioned beavers.

I tend to agree with you, Tequila. I think primitivism started as purely a critique and Tucker and Zerzan have turned it into a program relatively recently. In one of Tucker's podcasts (don't remember which episode) he mentions he (maybe Zerzan too) thinks the work of critique is done and it's time to start saying what needs to be done. Part of the reason I use anti-civ rather than primitivist myself. But I'd be glad to hear arguments that say otherwise.
Reply to Leftists, why do you fear green anarchy? by ziq
I'm sure you already have it, but the leftist project is about forcing other people to live like they want. I'm convinced they project their colonial ambitions onto anti-civ anarchists. Which is why they're incapable of seeing it is a critical framework and not a political project.
Reply to A new Georgia voting law reduced ballot drop box access in places that used them most by zephyr
Voting is like scoring points. Some teams play offense, some teams defense. Republicans play the brand of soccer where no one scores, it's miserable and everyone hates it but the fans of that team. Democrats try to score without playing defense. But voting doesn't matter as far as changing anything other than who wins.

Maybe I'm just a conspiracy theorist but at this point I'm 100% convinced the ruling classes know full well they'll have to violently crush the inevitable insurrections that occur as climate catastrophe ramps up. What better way to maintain control than having two armed to the teeth armies (cops and the actual army) instead of one? I guess they could make sure everyone's needs we're met, that would go further, but be more expensive for the rich than getting everyone to pay for the cops.
Unfortunately, their decline (along with many others) is something I've been able to watch in real time. It was only 25 years ago I remember seeing them in relative abundance as a youngster.
It's taken a few years of actively avoiding everything that isn't grass as I mow to get milkweed in my yard. But this year I have 3 plants growing and hope it'll continue. That assumes one of the neighbors doesn't call the cops on me for a 3rd time for "tall grass" and "noxious" weeds. Fuck you City of (redacted).

Reply to comment by zoom_zip in These are the 4 key takeaways from the Uvalde shooting investigation report by zephyr
Yeah. I hated the article. Seemed to say we better turn schools into maximum security prisons to keep everyone safe.
But that's always the answer for liberals, combined with gun control that'll never stop any of this from happening, since these guys almost always have legally obtained firearms.
Conservatives go with give everyone a gun and turn schools into a maximum security prison. Which is ironic considering the inmates aren't armed in every other prison.
