Gardening needs to be done--not read-about!

What isn't plants that I wanna grow, is mulched. The dry climate and clay soil keep down much that wants to grow.

I had a garden that was partly irrigated. The irrigation extended to half of a sweetcorn bed. The maize plants there were twice the size of those in the non-watered section!

Add thousands of worms, and so do vermicomposting.

That looks big and well-tended.

What's "NFT"?
The soil is heavy clay and building rubble! And the climate is dry.
The big producer is a blackberry bush. I've been pruning it.
But I need to do a lot of weeding. Grass clumps have grown tall and gone to seed!

My gardens are not immaculate! I'd like to do more to them. But I often lack motivation. Or I need to allot more time to gardening!

I find making art hard enough! Making art that people want to buy, is (a) special (extra).

People don't believe this. That what they do, affects others elsewhere. A bit of singing in churches, and god will sort-out whatever mess they make!

I read that "one country 2 systems"--was dead-and-buried. The police-brutality will have taught the populace that violence was OK! But I have since read that the situation in HK was more like Ukrainian history.

I read an opinion that HK was de facto (in all but name) under martial law!

I read that HK investment fled overseas. Partially replaced by mainland money. With the index continuing to fall.

I've watched an academic opinion. Two systems is book-history. HK will be troubled long-term, like Northern Ireland was.

Read up on your local climate and soil. The lie of the land matters; facing the rising sun is good for grapes locally.
Plants that are declared noxious weeds, need heavy maintenance!
Commposting has rules. If you throw in weed seeds--that's what you'll get back growing-up!
Mulch lots.
