You'll probably wanna put something weighty in the box too, just so that if an employee gets suspicious and grabs it, it doesn't feel empty.

My hot topic has really loud sensors, but then we also have very obvious sensors and it's a very popular store where I live, so they could do it differently where you went.

It'd be pretty hard to wear the clothes under your own clothes since the fitting room counts your items. Not sure about the sales tags though.

It sorta goes with the same thing as car-hopping or straight up burglary, as long as it's not from a working class or poor neighborhood, you're good. And I assume the people buying 2019 and 2020 cars aren't exactly poor.

Is the sweater Pacsun? Looks cozy, but I can't see it on their site?

Probably depends on the place, but once I went to Ikea and we checked out with only one piece of a two-piece desk, we paid, went back to get the other box and no one batted an eye about us walking out without paying (we weren't lifting but easily could've been). You could try a walkout like that, but if I were to do it I'd probably get something big and cheap and stash a bunch of other boxes between the thing I paid for. I haven't tried this though, so it's just an idea.
