All home depots have lp, and have for years. They are probably a single team of 3 to 5 people which will include the boss for the entire district's lp. Depending on how many stores in the district and how bad the problem is.... A store could have almost full time lp, or the team is on a rotation where they work at one store a day or two, then move on to the next store, and so on and so forth

I've been lifting for 20 years and i recently worked at a Homie D for 3 years. Think about risk vs. reward because this method will fail you eventually. If i was working loss prevention, anyone who carries a shopping bag or a backpack, etc, would instantly be red flagged and watched closely. I once had a walmart call the police on me at 2am just because i had a bookbag on my back. And that was about 8 years ago.

Parking lot cameras are usually live-feed only. You aren't required by law to show your receipt, once you have purchased your goods, they are then your private property.
