You can still make it go away. I've had 4 separate misdemeanor offenses all separated by a couple years. Never spent a day in jail, all are expunged now. My background checks are clear, I have a municipal career and still have it even with my current charge that I'm on deferred adjudication for right now. I still lift and do walkouts. The justice system just aims to make money through fines and fees, if you're in jail you can't make them money just cost them. Same for getting charges expunged, it makes them money through administration fees.

Walking out is a total commitment. You need to know exactly what you want and be prepared with a new looking receipt hidden on your person. You want to be quick but not look hurried and be well dressed or appropriate to the store you're at.

Walkouts are my preferred method. But yes do not stop for anyone. Be aware of what's going on around you but don't be suspicious. Once you have your chosen goods get out and don't look back or stop. Helps to have a fake plate on your vehicle too... Once you get away stick to back roads in case PD is enroute and looking for your vehicle. I do $1000 walkouts so that's a real concern for me.

Some towers are magnet detectors. But they aren't widespread. New stores in high theft, but well to do areas have them. That's when you skip detagging and go straight to walk out/grab and run.

It doesn't work. They will transfer you all over, you have to get a police report and then they will call to verify it to the actual department through records. So it kind of works but not worth the hassle.

They call the agency to verify them now. People have apparently been trying to impersonate officers on the phone to verify bogus reports so now they call the station and speak with the records clerk to authenticate. So it's getting harder and harder.

$1000 Traeger smoker and 5 bags of wood pellets. It all weighed about 250 lbs. It was $1100 worth total. Simple walkout.

To save money. I can afford everything I lift. I just like having all the nice stuff I have knowing I didn't pay for it. I also gift some of it.

Occasionally I boost to pad out my retirement account more.

Yep. Most people call them turtles, but StrapLok is the official name. Lowe's just loves those things. Be careful with the disarm chirp.

  1. Google stuff and Amazon stuff is not source tagged. Some stores will have an RFID sticker on them sometimes.

  2. Depends on the item, and the store. Usually helps if you have an idea of the LP setup, and it's a busy day. With big stuff it helps to be quick but not look or act suspicious.

They didn't create it. It's polyester... John Whinfield and James Dickson invented it. Under Armor is just a successful marketing campaign lead by getting athletes and celebrities to endorse it. Hell they charge $35 for a hat..

They don't need them because their LP is on point. You'll get just over the threshold and you'll be body slammed by two plainclothes who are just outside waiting for you.

They did it all wrong. The way to do it is no one noticed and you stroll to your vehicle without a care in the world.

From the first time I got caught to the last time I got caught, which are the only two times I have actually been caught it was 15 years apart. It's been a year and a half since I was last caught and haven't had any issues at all so far.
