Haha sorry smart guy. Most "are" not as dumb as you think. If it makes you feel better about yourself to correct my grammar then I'm happy for you. Keep trolling on.

Most LP is not as dumb as you think. Never underestimate the fact that they can start watching you at any time...doesn't matter what day it is.

Yea I think that whole thing I just wrote is pointless sorry man. I didn't realize it was only for a dollar store. I do this at regular supermarkets.

I know a lot of people say that walking in with a reusable bag is no good but thats how I do it. I come in with the bag and grab a cart. I know pretty much exactly everything I want to get before I go in and know where it all is (of course I may pick up a couple more things on the way lol). When I'm done I try to find a blind spot in an isle as close as possible to the exit. I put it all in my bag and just walk right out with the bag still in the cart. The key for me is to get in and out quickly. Not like running but just knowing what you want and where it is because the longer you are in there the more chance someone can start watching.

I really am starting to think it's just too risky at these Home depot's near me. They must be high shrink. I went in today ready to get it done...I figured best time would be on a Saturday when it's really busy. They had a greeter and a cashier at the lawn and garden exit. A greeter at the regular entrance and at the exit they had a guy and a woman literally standing in the middle of the isle just watching....looking back and forth. I went over to the contractor exit and they had 3 people working the self checkout part.

I was also customer serviced twice while I was in the isle putting the tools in my cart. One was a woman trying to sell me an air conditioning installation, which I thought was weird but maybe she was just walking around doing that. While she was talking to me I had another employee come and just stand there waiting for her to finish and then he asked what questions I had. At this point I was getting concerned they were watching me, but then a customer came back down the isle and said he was the one that requested the help lol. After that I was done and just left with nothing.

Now it's just starting to piss me off lol. I'm on a damn mission now to get this shit.

Only thing I can add to this is trust your gut. When you felt uneasy about what was going on when you came in you should of just left. If there are multiple people coming up and asking if you need help you have to know that something is up.

Thank you guys for the tips. I really like the orange vest idea. I have an old one that I could wear. Does anyone know if the yard tools are tagged. I noticed when I was there yesterday that the boxes were taped on one side and I read somewhere that might mean they are tagged. Anyone know if this is the case?
