There is usually a square tag on the outside you can easily peel off and that is it. I have gotten about 10 mice from JB and three keyboards at least and haven't set off the alarm once. But just remember even if you do set off the alarm, it doesn't matter, they can't stop you, just keep walking. The security is not allowed to put their hands on you in any way.

I am willing to bet they do have hidden towers...One way to test is to walk in with something tagged and see if an alarm goes off, if it does you will know for sure...When you set off the alarm when walking in just act all confused and say something like "I have been setting these off all day, I have no idea what it could be!" or something to that effect.

Tell her not to worry, but I wouldn't suggest she do any more lifting if she is that worried about things....

If this stuff happened three years ago there is no way anyone is coming after her for anything..

Most of the time, they are going to be looking for people who are lifting thousands of dollars worth of merch...

Let your friend know she has nothing to worry about :)

You don't actually have to stop for them, no matter what they do or say. I always act like I am on a phone call when walking out, and I have even set off alarms, and had them yell at me to stop and I just keep walking. They are not allowed to put their hands on you or follow you, if they do they can be fired. Just keep walking out and completely ignore them no matter what, or if you have to when they ask to see your bags tell them "no thanks" and keep walking. I have never had an issue with them when doing this.

I have set off the alarm more times than I can count. I always just act like I am on an angry phone call and keep on walking no matter what. Has worked for me every time :)
