I was in a similar situation and It really depends on where you're at. Funny enough, in my area squatters are treated like actual tenants that require proper eviction notices, ect.. Personally I spent most of my time outside/in woods but that's not an option for a lot of people.

Just walk or ride a bike like many others said. Or drive and park down the road.

Also if you get sparkplugs, there's a little ceramic bit inside of them that will break any car window you throw it at.

Yeah, steal from people who are already broke as fuck and struggling to survive instead of a wealthy multi-million dollar company, genius.

Illegal =/= immoral

Try and use sites like Wish, Alibaba, Fasttech, ect.. A lot of those directly out of China make some pretty good fakes. There was a recent video by Austin Evans where he buys a pair of legit Sennheiser earbuds for about $700 and a cheap knock off pair from Wish for about $30. On the surface they were almost exactly alike, and during a blind test he couldn't tell which was which. Here's a link if you want: https://youtu.be/KxSDaBRfFGA

A good way to do this is through Amazon since they don't inspect the product extremely thoroughly when they get it back. They also provide full refunds and pay for shipping back. However I don't see why it wouldn't work at places like Walmart, just make sure that it's a returnable item. As for returning with the box, it varies. Some of these fake companies throw in a box that looks exactly like the legit box, in that case, I return the fake device and box. If not, just put the fake ones in the legit box. You can probably make a killing selling the legits on eBay for a bit cheaper than retail since it's "used" /no box.

Couldn't agree more with the last sentence. It's not natural to have to work yourself to death just so you can survive. Rich fucks like Jeff Bezos steal more than anyone here makes in their entire life from not only the government, but the working class too. The only difference is we're not billionaires, so that means it's bad if we try to survive by stealing measly groceries that aren't even going to make a dent in these bastard's pockets.

They probably mean the tracking number when they talk about "tracing". I've done some good Amazon scams where you order some stuff, hit up customer service and say "I'm looking at the tracking number and it says delivered but I never got it.". They'll ask if you checked with neighbors or roommates, just say that you have and no one has seen it. Then they'll usually offer a refund back to your card or store credit.

You're posting in a board called "illegalism", no one here is gonna judge you for lifting some groceries lol. It sounds like this is the first time you've done this, so try and be calm and take a chill pill.

I'm glad you made it out. I highly doubt anyone is coming after you though. What you did is so insignificant in the grand scheme of things, it's not even worth it for the cops to hunt you down or for the store to even press charges on you. Maybe if you were a serial lifter who stole hundreds or thousands of dollars of high ticket items, then they might.

If you ever do get caught doing this, just remember that nobody talks, everyone walks. Never talk to the cops, you're only obligated to tell them your name and birthday if you're ever arrested and charged with a crime. The only words out of your mouth to them should ever be "I'm invoking my 5th amendment right and I would like a lawyer".

Glad you got away. As for sueing, I really think you're gonna have a hard time finding a lawyer to take that case, and getting people to side with you on that, whether it be a judge or a jury. If I were you, I'd just leave it and learn from it. Sorry it happened to you, if you can find someone who will take it then awesome, but even consultations can be pretty expensive for them just to tell you no.

Reply to Guitars? by Devman909

Probably not a good idea. If it's a large store, maybe you can fake a return. There are a lot of Chinese companies out there that have pretty realistic copies of actual expensive model guitars, and it can be pretty tough for your average employee to spot the small differences unless they're an expert. However, the downside is the fact you'll have to purchase a genuine and a fake, which also might not be worth it in the end. Good luck though
