That’s rare that someone would recognize you like that. You must have done something without knowing to tip him off that you were trying to steal the jerky. Probably walking directly to the back of the store and not shopping/looking at merchandise. I have an upvote. I’d steal from just about any gas station.

Yes it’s better to go when busy but don’t let customers see you. Also affluent places sometimes have good security and sometimes don’t. You need to research the store u want to hit and see. I do so by going on reddit and going to that stores sub to ask about their lp. I usually pretend like I’m applying or something

I always conceal in a blind spot where it’d be difficult for someone to spot me on foot without me seeing them. The only problem is it draws more attention from lp when you just go straight over to a spot like that. You’ve got to look like your just shopping, don’t look around much except at merchandise. And even then you still may draw attention wondering to a corner of the store like that.

mine has a police officer. id never steal at a store with a cop. other than that tho its just way to crowded, and with the layout of the store its likely someone will see you

Central market is great. I work there and we never prosecute even for hundreds of dollars. Cameras are never monitored. We don’t really have lp, just operations managers. They’re in charge of a lot of things and often don’t respond when an employee reports a shoplifter

sometimes on christmas ill hit like 5 or 6 best buys and get like 10-15 consoles like that. i hawk them off for like 60 bucks each around christmas. makes me feel good.

edit: i do however preserve them for people who really are poor. one i even gave away free last year. the kid was in the hospital after an operation and they claimed they didn't have health insurance during some small talk so i just gave it away. it was a switch.
