My 0.2c, be sure the store you visit is corporate owned and not a franchise.
Where I’m from, only a handful are owned by head office, the rest and hard working small businessmen.

Don’t quote me on this but the dye tags are usually not RF equipped, but of course that varies.

I’ve read that you can put the garment including tag in your freezer for an hour or two, then strike it off with a hammer.

This is just middle class outrage hype. It’s a dog and pony show, a contrivance, propaganda if you will. A scare tactic because they are losing to lifters.
No cops will be on hand for this shit and if it’s LP, in Australia, they won’t attempt to detain and if they do just leg it.
Anyways, the clip is 5 years old.

Reply to How to lift from Australian stores? by hellothere
Bunn1ngz: goto a store that has a garden centre outdoor check out. Conceal in a booster bag and make a cheap cash purchase on the way out. Allen key set @$5 or so. No one is ‘door bitch’ the garden/outdoor checkout.
Office w3erkZ: bring a little Stanley/box cutter to mangle those stickers that trigger the towers. Conceal or use the Bunnings method.
Sp0tlight: no idea.
As for tip/being stopped, just be in and out quick, nobody is real time watching any cameras. Keep your eyes smiling and your mask on. Park far away and in Australia, loss prevention can’t do anything except alert police, so just refuse and keep walking.
God speed.
