Yeah, this. He's demonstrated being an abuser and a misogynist before. We do not need to be glorifying this man or his behavior. If he was on the front lines, fighting ableism, sexism, cissexism, centrism, transphobia, homophobia, racism, and more- Yeah, sure I'd love to call him a comrade, but I cannot, not with his actions and words in the past.

Clearly the socioeconomic conditions created by capitalism have nothing to do with anything involving the "poor."

But seriously, first off most poor people are not violent, and the addiction factor is due to literally the socioeconomic conditions of capitalism, with a lack of care, lack of access to support systems, and rampant classism, racism, and far more.

All of this is sad, the crap we face for being trans is horendous. I started transition 8 years ago, at the time due to hate crimes/suicide combined the expected life span of a trans individual was 23. It's a little higher now, something like 30 iirc (which coincidentally is how old I am). It's just terrible.

Over on reddit I frequent /r/news (I'm u/usagimimi) and the denial that abounds from the community after every single murder of a trans person is scary. Massive doubt that it had anything to do with their status as trans or that they deserved it and such...
