Reply to Just How Unpopular, How Wrong on the Facts, How Misguided Is the FCC Proposal to Rollback Network Neutrality and Broadband Privacy? by LostWithPurpose
My opinion is that it is silly to think the internet can be open and free or libre. It is a network that was built by corporate and state actors for their own purposes, so we might as well complain that there are no free and accessible Coca-Cola fountains to drink out of. Yuck! but it is an example.
If we want to connect to each other over free and open channels we must build and use them. Unplug from networks that are not libre. Build and use networks that function as we dreamed the internet would function. And let us build them using hardware and software that we control.
Let us not spend time arguing that the FCC is wrong about net neutrality. Let us make the battle about net neutrality obsolete.
