What were the LP shift schedules? Was there always someone on duty throughout the entire day? Any days purposely scheduled so that only a morning shift had coverage and the night did not?

I appreciate the responses all around, thank you.

My deal's been that I've hit 3 of 4 locations, each twice over by picking the cases with a legit tubular lock pick, making sure to relock afterwards and leaving it looking untouched (never having felt the need to stage first and come back to take though). I have lifted numerous times from this 4th place but haven't tried their display cases since they were in the same much-trafficked aisle that opens to the stock room. Recently, they've been remodeling and moved the cases to a more convenient section that is now begging to be tapped.

Anyways, I'm sure I probably had lots of dumb luck with the other stores, and it's quite possible I may have a case building with them, so I think I've been trying real hard to override my gut feeling and better senses this time. I suppose I'll just let it be and move on.

Well, I just don't feel it would be left there as bait and be constantly surveillanced 24/7 for days. The day upon retrieval, I would quickly slip in and then out during high traffic hours. I don't care if they find out after the fact and I'm long gone out of the building with the goods.

Well, I saw it like this: if I happen to have the misfortune of being watched while breaking into the case and then caught at the exit having just lifted a high-dollar amount, I'd be mega fucked. Sooo, I thought better to maybe test the waters first by staging the items in an inconspicuous manner that wouldn't allow them to be recovered and put back in the case for several days or more by anyone who hadn't actually witnessed me in action.

Let's then say I do just hide them and leave the store without being stopped on my way out. I wait 3 days, come back to retrieve, and if it's in the same spot, I would assume LP was not watching at the time and I'm cleared to go; otherwise, the merchandise would have been recovered afterwards at some point had I been actively watched.

What sort of weekly schedule do you have? Do you make your own times? Is your store open for 24 hours? Do you think most other LP managers at other retailers have similar schedules? Thank you for your time, sir.

Much appreciated. Was wondering about the codes being used. I just went in to a Hobby Lobby for the first time last week and once more today with me and the Mrs. knabbing lots of neato gifts both trips. She got a little nervous by the code thing on the second go-around. Found plenty of blind spots there though; that is, as long as there weren't any other kinds of cameras than the obvious hanging black balls. Will definitely hit them up at least two more times to get Xmas presents for some of the trickier ones to shop for.

Nice thinking with the escapes. I need to try and make sure I go over my excuses and exit plans just in case similar happens to me. One of my Walmarts has this really nosy twentysomething teacher's pet white bitch snitch working the self-checkout at night when I like to go and has been pissing me off lately with her annoying overbearing presence. Guess I need to just pull the box trick more to get around her.

Are there any tips on what to say to customer service or how to handle receiving the initial order? They don't investigate and ask questions to your post office?

Hey, I'm real ignorant on computer tech stuff, but I've been trying to come up with some high-dollar-yet-conveniently-pocketable items to lift that are easy to flip and wouldn't be missed for a long while. Would you say these parts would fit the bill if I came across the same fortune to snag one out in the open? Could you point me to directions on what and how to pull it out? Will taking it out mess with the computer's display and draw attention to anyone if they casually demo'd it?
