Socdems believe in a capitalistic welfare state. Government intervention is supposed to help achieve and maintain social justice among society.
Demsocs believe in a socialist state backed by a democratic government. They believe that capitalism is incompatable with true freedom and therefore seek to abolish it through democratic means. They believe the working class should control the means of production.
Actually, I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be socdem. After a long hard sitdown, I realized I agree more with demsoc ideals than socdem.
I would like to apply for demsoc. I am a demsoc myself so I can relate to those on that forum well. I am also an experienced mod with numerous different scenarios under my belt.
