So I agree with you, Monero is the way to go but I wouldn't even need to wash it. It's inherently untraceable vs Bitcoin for example.

The issue is how could I buy the Monero? Most sites are secured by 3D Secure meaning I need physical access to their phone and mobile app to confirm payments.

Do you realise how broad your question in?

Fraud is not one thing, it's a huge area of crime.

What activities do you specifically want to engage in?

Fencing is hard in real life unless you already know people.

Firstly: well done for planning - this is key to not getting caught. You've realised there's a weakness in your plan so you're going to solve it.

In reality this is not going to be easy and will take a bit of time. eBay is going to be your best bet. You'll need to source an eBay and PayPal account from a third party - you can find these very easily at places like Aspkin forums - they have reliable sellers. I would recommend investing in one of the "aged" accounts with limits removed.

You'll need to follow instructions carefully, and use a paid, static IP VPN at all times. I would personally use a virtual machine as well, because eBay stores all kinds of data each time you login. If they manage to link any of it, you're shit out of luck and banned - worst case you could get pinned by law enforcement.

The next step is to slowly work up the credibility of your store front. You need to sell lots of low value items, and work up to increasingly higher items. In reality this can take several weeks to months - but it is crucial. If you go to sell a watch straight away your account will be immediately limited and you'll need to provide loads of ID to get it unlimited. You can see the problem you'll have there.

It is possible to work up slowly and sell high risk items as a reputable seller eventually, but you need to be patient. Please do not rush it - it'll backfire. Countless others have done this and been burnt by impatience.

The last option is to sell via FB marketplace but these days it's hard to trick FB into thinking you're a legit new user who deserves access to it. I've tried loads of VPNs etc with no luck at all. Even tried with real burner phones/SIMs. Your only option is to sell from your own profile but then it pops up on your friends feeds and they'll notice.

Final, final option: backpage ads like Craigslist, do due diliigence on buyers before meeting up. Use a burner phone and sim + burner email at all times. Only agree to meet in person, at a public place you've found beforehand with no CCTV, and to sell for cash only.

Absolutely #1/#2 - they've both saved my chin more times than I'd care to count. When something feels wrong, it is. And worst case scenario and you're bailing prematurely you can try again tomorrow. The risk:reward ratio balance is crucial to keep you from jail.

I have hit some stores countless times by maintaining a veil of innocence. You want LP to see you and see you do absolutely nothing numerous times. It's about being alert and switched on to when they're watching. You conceal in places without cameras so the only way they can catch is by direct observation, and if you're astute enough that means you know precisely when you can get caught.

Eventually LP will stop following you if they have observed countless times that you're not lifting.

My second piece of advice would be that if you're regularly hitting certain stores, you need to know the staff - what they look like, their roles in the store etc. I hit stores when I know the shift patterns have changed, and I hit stores when I know that staff are more likely to be on breaks/in the back room.

I shoplifted from a local uni based store for about a year - taking only minor things like drinks or sandwiches for the day. They put up signs saying "shoplifters will be prosecuted" etc but nothing ever came of it really. I did usually go in in the same coat, to the same aisles, most days and never got caught. The last time I saw the store manager make eye contact with me on the way in, but I just smiled and walked past. However I was zuspicious. O then feigned a self checkout and about to leave when I saw a member of staff go near the door and she had a radio on her. Put two and two together and I actually paid for my lunch this time, then walked past slowly and confidently. On my way out I overheard a "thanks anyway, I guess not" over the radio... Lol.

It goes to show that if you do the same shop over and over even for minor things, they will eventually step up and check things. For one off things you'll be fine. Anything above £20 they'll notice missing though, for sure.

Go in and have a look? Whilst you're there plan your route around the shop, where you're gonna lift from, where you're gonna detag, how you're going to get out.

With respect I think you are from the US, and trust me the UK police are no where near this efficient.

Also, statistics show the median time until an outcome is recorded on theft crimes is only 2 days lol. Aka if they haven't dealt with you in a max of 1-2 weeks, it's pretty safe to say the odds of them coming after you are virtually nil.

UK Police are awful, and I think that may actually go in my favour. It's been 4 days now - if I get to the end of next week I'm gonna stop worrying. Can never 100% rule out late action but it's getting less likely by the day.

First day after was tough man, I really contemplated ending things rather than face up to prison time or my family finding out my pastime. I'm gonna seek help for that I think as I got very close.

Feeling much better now the heat has died off but the anxiety will linger for at least 2 weeks.

But my logical brain says if they had shit on me they'd have questioned me by now.

Tell me about it - reason was because I was away from the desk as they called me over to look at the item I left last time. So on my way back I just legged it lol.

Almost 3 days and no action now.. I think they may have just kept the item and not questioned it haha.
