Oof in possibly related news?

I believe less than 10 days ago, an apparently affluent town in California was renowned for a safety deposit box company (not publicly traded, I assume, and not a bank) being completely and utterly private and up to date on tech was busted by the FBI and under a warrant, they were able to seize, open, and confiscate EVERY SINGLE ONE of those Sdb’s and if you can imagine word of mouth references that built two storefronts I would also surmise that the companies held a great deal amount of boxes from people in all walks of life.

And get this y’all- since it was all private, the company had no inventory of any of their customer’s shit(obvi) and since all the assets within the boxes were confiscated, they are technically now owned by the government.

THE VICTIMS HAD TO APPEAR IN COURT TO FIGHT FOR THE ITEMS THE GOVERNMENT TOOK FROM THEM, AND IF THERE WAS NO PROOF OF OWNERSHIP….well yeah. You know how that ends.

How long are the “powerful” going to perpetuate shady behavior under the guise of “fighting the bad guys + National.security/All.For.One.None.For.All + totally ethical reason #1” ??

And then using the slow, bureaucratic process to their advantage? What bullshit narrative is transparency when CLEARLY SO SHADY AND NO ONE CARES??

Ok wow I held that in for a while

Hoosaa

Yeah they probably are related, and just. Fuck. Womps.

Edit: I’ll try to find the source and post later
