I was homeless for 3 months at one time. Lived in my vehicle while I worked and saved for a place. It sucked. I learned a lot on Google on how to survive and started boosting for extra cash. In my opinion, suicide isn't going to solve anything. I don't know all of your circumstances though. Just saying it's possible to come out on top.

Sometimes we just get lucky. I personally hate Wal-Mart and Target so those are my favorite shops to hit. I actually worked at one out of desperation for a holiday season. I'm amazed they are still in business after everything I took and didn't scan for customers. Using EBT? I would only charge for maybe a quarter of their items, if that. Already drinking your 20 oz soda? I'd forget to ring it up. Always used caution and never got caught. Quit as soon as I could. Was the most soul sucking 3 months of my life.

Just keep being aware of your surroundings even at busy times. Sounds like you did a great job. My advice is to not hit the same place without putting some time between. I'm surprised that the controller didn't beep, but I don't lift much electronics other than chargers and cords.

I've been lifting and boosting over 15 yrs. Some days are awesome, some suck. Just trust your gut and don't try to move too quickly to getting a 500 dollar haul at once. Some days I only get gum or a coffee drink from a gas station. No shame in that. Other days I restock my bathroom cabinets. Just do what is comfortable for you.

Just tried it at a dollar store with towers. No alert with multiple magnets. Was just checking this page and thought I'd give an update since I was about to go in.

Our Wal-Mart's close at midnight and open at 7am. Due to high overnight theft of course. After 10, there's usually a uniformed police officer at the door. Just do your research. I've lifted while a cop was nearby.
