I think just diff wigs, hat styles, and different styles of glasses will work. Bald is kind of obvi so I think a wig or hat would be important.
Think preppy, geeky, or artistic style, or polished but cool? Idk. Aliexpress is amazing lmao.

Most of your questions are easily answered by yourself by checking out your store, which I highly recommend.
However ime, lp varies greatly from store to store. Some stores have security guards standing right at the entrance while others appear to not have lp.
In my area they use magnet tags so get a golf detacher.
Idk it sounds like you need to do more research here. Just a tip if you’re not going to do more research- if they catch you, run for it don’t go into the back.

I wouldn’t risk it. The ticket to go in is so $$ and your family would find out if you got caught, and you might ruin the vacation. You’d prob be kicked out, maybe banned? If you must, do it at the end of the last day IMO.

I don’t think they’ll be like, “search this guys house for this shirt he was wearing!”
I mean the masks are amazing for us and a must now, but you deliberately dressing cheap sounds like lp would watch you even more? So what do you do, just hold the stuff you’re lifting and leave?

I feel like at such a high number like 12 stores, all it takes is one extra vigilant employee to send out a mass PSA even without knowing other stores were hit already? But I don’t know how lp works so
Maybe if you had a vastly diff disguise every four shops or something?

Oh wow yikes maybe it’s like a list of suspects so the lp can look back through the cameras.

This was such a bad idea. They have all your info. Damn. Even if you get away with it, it was extremely high risk for such a low payoff. Did you not read the beginners guide that someone kindly wrote for here? Hope it works out for you

Do they sound an alarm when you walk in or it just silently alerts the security team?

Idk if they’re on Amazon? They’ll be screwed into the table if you can find a super dead clothing shop..

I’m sooooo sorry this happened to you 😭😭😭 That’s crazy they beat you… you took such petty things… I’m crying for you, that’s traumatising
At least you didn’t get any police records.. it sounds like that could really ruin your life.
I feel terrible and obviously I’m privileged to say maybe it’s not worth it to steal in your country, but maybe you’re doing it out of true necessity. 😭😭😭 I’m sorry

No they only sound if you take them past the towers. Just rip them off and idk, maybe stick them on another item you’re not lifting.

Wow! Was there anything/ any incident in the news lately? If there was maybe they’re just putting these up for show to make customers feel ‘safe’. Otherwise that is so wild, it’s not like they’re guarding some very high value stuff or money transportation.

Lol yeah that’s a weird convo. Could he have been trying to buy time for the lp to review tapes?
How did you remove the tag without a magnet? Where did you shove the tag?
Almonds wrote
Don’t they have changing rooms? Why didn’t you go try on some clothes and conceal a few, leaving the rest? I never have a plan tbh I go there and ‘shop’ like a normal person. Who has time to pick out what you want one trip and return for the stuff again??
Sorry this happened to you, luckily you didn’t get anything worst, it’ll suck when you can’t go to the mall with your friends? Yikes.
I kind of think it was way past your “gut feelings” when they’re blatantly onto you lmao

I noticed in this vid, regarding the stickers, that if you move it through the centre between the towers there’s a less chance of them ringing has anyone found that to be true lmao
Amazing vid, I’m going to study it some more when I have time thank you very much!!!!

No… I’m sure all the employees know what you look like. So if you MUST, go diff times AND DISGUISE like 100% need a realistic wig and make your face look diff. Which doesn’t seem worth it just to lift at a cvs. I don’t think you should even go back to buy things legit because it’ll just refresh their memory and add the the time you won’t be able to return.

Yeah and you can be sure he prob put your pic up in the back for other employees :/. Only way is to disguise and make sure your clothes/ bag is different :(

There’s sooo much info in this forum it’s wild. Just look back. If you don’t have time, short and simple tips: dress clean business casual. Look confident. See if it’s possible to do walk outs at your supermarket (you’ll have to search it up here and read. Some things that could happen eg, maybe the cart locks at the doors). Go to more affluent area market. Maybe use reusable bags.

Reply to BIG VIDEO portable deativator for AM soft hard label security tag 58kHz find to neutralize by bombastershop
I’ve been thinking about this. Some soft tags are concealed inside the cardboard box/ now even not removable INSIDE (zhara) shoes. Would this disable those? That would be very useful so you don’t have to open the packaging to find the tag in cardboard boxes.

I feel like for a big ($$$ making) place like Walmart, why would they use fake cams? Real ones aren’t all that $ nowadays I think. It’s prob better to just assume they’re all real IMO

Oh wow! That is too cool. And it works for all soft tags? Dang it would be useful for places like uniKl0 where sometimes the tags are on the crinkly bags and hard to cut up without going to the changing room and taking more time/ lots of noise.

I worry they’ll check back to those who set the alarm off with the security cam and then follow that person. Time consuming, but if they had large shrink maybe they would do that.
I try to remove all the tags before crossing the towers but a few times it rang anyways, once I made a shocked expression and an employee just looked at me and said “you can just go” haha. No one has stopped me yet, but I time my exits to another shopper sometimes and don’t really stop even if it rings. Also I try to exit when no sales associates are around.

Reply to Advice on lifting from Best Buy? There's practically no blindspots there, makes it difficult. by intellectual
Scope out all the best buys around you. It sounds like some of them are way easier than others from what I’ve read on here. I think they’re all kinda hard difficulty where I am though. Lots and lots of sales assistants, and newer buildings so tonnes of cameras, unsure if they’re manned but I’m assuming so since this store carries pretty $$$ things.
