I don't think of nonbinary as a third gender category, but that each nonbinary person has their own gender
and that gender often comes with a kind of image, 'what my gender looks like', and so when you don't conform to that image, ie you are gender-non-conforming, then yeah, often means you look more cis than your gender

I think it applies more to enbies but also binary trans people in some cases

i usually don't think of nb as a gender really i guess
