I've been thinking about ways people can notice infiltrates when you might benefit from not just doing stuff with close friends. Most undercoer agents are allowed to do most crimes and even go so far as to make up fake murders for a cover. So crime is almost never an indicator. Now you could always go with if you get a weird vibe and just try to avoid activities that require trust in general. But I do wonder if there are other ways to spot a rat.

One thing I thought about is having groups inherently be gender queer only. Law enforcement agencies federal and local are notoriously conservative and men. No white conservative man is going to be able to act like they think its super cool to dress up in drag. Like it has to be such a great offense against their toxic masculinity that they can spot such a slight.

another one is just be gatekeepy with theory. Most law enforcement officnials even undercover greatly struggle to read up anarchist shit. The more incomprehensible and nuanced the harder it gets. The mindset needed to be a cop almost certainly isn't capable of understanding the philosophy of crimethinc.

And these all have problems too.so its not really a solution and honestly the bigger problem if people u working with snitching than feds tbh. So trustless systems should only be relied upon in a ideal system.

reminds me of this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Kennedy_(police_officer)

initiation ceremony maybe? Like only accepting people who do something really stupid with permanent consequences in order to join ur affinity group, and only accepting those who go through while undercover cops would likely back down. Downside(?) is that you'd only get unhinged people in your affinity group. For example russian roulette or the chicken game .

Statistics would dictate that in any case it's best to keep stuff as small and as temporary as possible and stfu even around other activists.
