Mods Wanted

Hi everyone! I created this after our subreddit was banned but I absolutely don't have the time to moderate it so I'd love to add some more mods. Let me know if you're interested!

I'd love to be able to help out, but I'm not sure I will be able to be active enough. proED is kind of a down-low sort of place that I can only visit openly when I'm at work/out of the house.

Was there stuff on the subreddit that broke reddit's rules? Or did they just ban you for no reason like they did my sub?

They banned us for "promoting self harm."

Which... I mean eating disorders are harmful so I guess anywhere people with EDs congregate has a lot of self harm involved, but the sub was about support and community, not encouraging the disease. None of us want to be this way, we're just not all ready for recovery and ProED was the only non-toxic non-recorvery ED community on the whole internet so the admins did us real dirty and hurt a lot of people by criminally misunderstanding mental health issues.

How did you find raddle? I asked the mods on EDanonymous if they would link to raddle but they said no because the admins won't ban their new sub... which seems pretty naive imo.

It'll be hard to grow your forum if they won't cooperate

I’d be interested! I spent years modding one of those major pro-ed forums that used to exist. But I I just joined raddle and don’t know my way around yet

I would be glad to try it. I've never modded yet, but I can be active a few hours every day and more often on the weekend!

I am also on Reddit under the same username, and I like the support that r/proED used to give to people.

Hi! I could moderate. My Reddit username is Daeloy, I’d been subbed to r/ProED for a while. I do currently moderate another community on Reddit, but it’s not very active. I should be available on weekdays in EST time around 7 in the morning, from 4 to 5 or 7 in the afternoon, and then from 8 to 10. On weekends, I’d be available from about nine in the morning to midnight.
