every user should get a subdomain when whitelisted, 5mb of space and a simple online html-editor and file uploader and everyone would be able to make their own website!

why?

because the internet is shit

alphabet, amazon and meta have ruined what the internet could be. web 2.0 was a mistake. search engines are shit. algorithmically driven to take your money or influence your opinions (ie. brainwashing). check out manifestos of yesterweb, there is a whole movement of slow web.

Stuff like this is silly. I know it's meta_. Buying a dirt cheap domain costs several dollars a year. And paying someone to host a tiny website costs less than 10 bucks a month. You just pay money, and put post mill on it. now u have ur own raddle website. Lol

Bugs, over on ni.hil.ist, has chi.st which they allow users to use if they message them. been awhile since I've been on there but just worth mentioning if anyone is over there frequently and hasn't checked it out. (no I don't have a blog there).

Otherwise I am content with users just making their own forums or wikis here. Though I've thought of self-hosting my own website just as a learning experience more than once.
