I tried to reply to an article about Middle East custom, in Feminism. Receiving "You are banned"! And in some other forum I got the same response.

I am really puzzled. I don't know where the ban is on this site.

You're not banned from f/feminism:

I already told you it's an IP ban false positive because you're using Tor but not using the onion address. If you're using Tor, use the onion address.

Spammers use the clearnet site over Tor and we IP ban them. So then when you use that clearnet Tor IP, you're prevented from posting too because we've blocked that IP.

USE THE ONION.

OK, via Tor, I'm now using raddle's Forum onion address. Is there some FAQ, explaining this stuff?

The subs are run by dickheads, simple as that.

Do you mean subsidiary forums? I would like error-messages to be more explanatory. "Because of prior misuse, this site has banned the IP address that you're now using! If you're using Tor, then we recommend you instead login via the following onion address."

There's no way the software can know you're not the same person who was banned for spamming if you both have the same IP address.

By person, I gather was meant IP address. That was not explicitly stated! The same with the reason for having banned that IP address. I had interpreted the ban to have been of my username, in a particular forum. Whereas only upon complaint, did I learn that it was site-wide, and of the IP address that I was using!
