As long as they stick to the anti-oppression policy I don't think there'll be much of a problem. The politics crowd could make more of an effort to engage with them instead of just trying to ignore them, which I think would help.

I didn't think it would be a problem, just curious if others have thought about how it'll change the site with apolitical people driving the majority of discussion.

I'm happy for the shoplifters to be around.

I think that keeping them off the Featured Forums is a useful way to make sure they don't overwhelm the space.

f/shoplifting being the biggest forum isn't really a concern because the radical users are using all the forums. If the radicals crammed all their activity into one forum we'd be lightyears ahead in terms of posts.

I think it's a reasonable idea to bridge /f/shoplifting with illegalist ideas to try to combine the communities in a way.

I mean most of them are just a bunch of radlibs with very questionable politics so personally I couldn't care less that they are here.

Rad politics people should comment more so they don't get drowned out by libs.

We all migrated from Reddit (The Bastards!)

... With that said, as someone pretty active on Shoplifting, most of us also tend to mind our own business over there. I -occasionally- look at other forums, and I almost never see any of the users I typically socialize with on lifting commenting or posting in other places.

For the most part, we have our own unique view/guidelines on lifting and are a very civilized bunch! (We don't oppress, insult, etc). We tend to not fit in well with the other illegal activity forums, though, as most of us are dedicated to just lifting. One thing we are not, is very political (at least in regards to those of us who comment and post), which is probably the reason we stay in our corner! If we are political anything, it's anti-corporation. The only thing we care about in regards to the government is not getting caught by law enforcement. Haha!

Must of us are here to learn/refine/teach/(And show off). But in the end, I'd be willing to bet that most who come for f/shoplifiting come here for solely that. We are thieves. Not being noticed is kinda our thing. (Minus those like myself who are all about Social Engineering.)

Anyways, just throwing this out there. Feel free to come say 'Hi'!

I think the most of the non-radical/non-political users in /f/Shoplifting pretty much stay in /f/Shoplifting. I don't think they will affect the rest of the site very much.
